A Specialty of the House

Eggnog Cake

1 box yellow cake mix
1½ cup eggnog
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
3 eggs
2 tbsp rum
½ stick melted butter

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together for about 4 minutes. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan.

Bake for 45 minutes or until done. Cool 5 minutes, then turn pan upside down to cooling rack.

When cool, decorate with glaze of your choice and colored sugars.

Glaze:
1 tbsp soft butter
1 c powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3-4 tbsp eggnog or until desired consistency

Mix on low speed in medium bowl.

This months featured guests are something special. Meet Sparky and Bentley, our featured pups. Stuffed with fluff and love, these two are ready to be played with. Bring along your dog when you stay at Candlebay Inn and they will receive a welcome treat, toys supporting the Wounded Warrior Project, breakfast and in-room soft beds and blankets. $5.00 of each pet fee goes to the Coastal Humane Society in Brunswick.
