The partnership between Pineland Farms and The Black Tie Company began in June 2013 when the two hosted their first Graze dinner. An evening at Graze at Pineland Farms begins at 6:00 pm with hors d’oeuvres and complimentary signature cocktails, followed by a five-course amuse bouche style dinner. A portion of ticket sales will be donated.
Parking is always plentiful at Pineland Farms and the weather right now is perfect for dining al fresco.
A farmer’s table in the center of the tent is heavy with samples of Pineland Farm cheeses, perhaps a spicy beer fondue with fresh bread, or a beet hummus dip among other nibbles. The Black Tie staff passes hors d‘oeuvres like paprika parsnip fries with sea salt aioli or spring radish with ginger honey butter on brioche toast, and maybe Pineland cheese sliders with tomato jam on a biscuit.
Conversation and laughter linger over the live acoustic music or a livelier trio. Family-style dinner is served featuring a paired brewer, distillery, or winery. This year, Fore River Brewing, Lone Pine Brewing, Austin Street Brewing, Eighteen Twenty Wines, Orono Brewing, and Lone Pine Brewing have joined Graze. As Award-Winning Chef, Avery Richter and her staff continue to wow diners with their mastery of local Maine flavors, Graze becomes more and more a desired ticket. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? All ages are welcome, please bring your ID for age verification.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Yes, but no worries if you forget it, we will have a person checking names at the door.
