Visit Freeport’s Flavors of Freeport – 3nd Annual Frosty Frolic

February 24, 2024 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Outdoor downtown soiree celebrating local food, sea farmers, fishermen, and music. Bundle up and join us at the Freeport Historical Society’s Harrington House courtyard and in the parking lot immediately behind the Freeport Oyster Bar at 45 Main St. Free admission, purchase food & beverages directly from the participating purveyors.

Hüga Heat: Hüga heated cushions provide hours of comfy heat so you spend more time outside doing the things you love. Please be heated while at the Frosty Frolic thanks to Hüga!
Freeport Oyster Barn: Warm up with something off their special outdoor menu including a variety of boozy hot chocolates & steamy chowdah. Enjoy your treats in the reserved seating!
Bridgham & Cook: the British Store: Complimentary McVitie’s s’mores fit pit along with serving an Olds Tyme English favorite, Wassaill! (meaning to your health) The Germans call it Gluvine.
What the Actual Fudge: locally made, artisanal flavors!
Puckerbrush: a specialty food business and apiary celebrating the delicious flavors of New England
Sweet Monkey Business: artisan made sweet & savory shortbread cookies and superfood granolas
ChiGoBee Farm: goats milk fudge, caramels, award-winning cheese, bread, baked goods, soaps, and other products.
Cheese the Day: artisanal grilled cheese and comfort food side dishes
Support Ukraine:Every dollar collected goes to Support Ukraine. They will be offering as incentives for donations THREE cookbooks in limited numbers:  Summer Kitchens: Recipes and Reminiscences from Every Corner of Ukraine (by Olia Hercules); BUDMO! Recipes from a Ukrainian Kitchen ( by Anna Voloshyna), and The Veselka Cookbook (by Tom Birchard). Books are hard cover.  Support Ukraine is a nonprofit charity that provides military grade helmets and vests to Territorial Defense Units in Ukraine, particularly those that include journalists and filmmakers. It also provides materials to manufacture vests to Ukrainian factories. It was co-founded by Halya & Cathy’s cousin, Olena Yershova, a Ukrainian film producer and her colleague, Pascal Traeschlin, a Swiss film producer and distributor.
