Greetings!
If you haven’t been to Freeport in a while to visit us, now is the perfect time! We’ve been gearing up for summer and we’re excited to welcome both newcomers and returning visitors to the inn. With spring in full bloom and summer knocking at the door, we want to highlight why Freeport is the best place to visit with your furry friend and how we have the best accommodations for you and your canine.
Freeport Village
Shop ’til you drop in downtown Freeport. Dogs are invited into clothing, book, home décor, specialty food, pottery, jewelry, ski and bike, and pet stores within Freeport village.
Hiking Partners
Several dog-friendly hiking trails are located within minutes of Freeport village and offer a great retreat from the busy Main Street. Bradbury Mountain State Park has miles of hiking trails, including trails that summit Bradbury Mountain and offer incredible views. Difficulties range from easy to most difficult, and many trails are less than 1.5 miles long.
Hearty Dogs
Harraseeket Lunch & Lobster, Linda Bean’s Maine Kitchen & Topside Tavern, 1912 Café, and Petrillo’s all welcome dogs for patio and deckside dining.
Great deals and finds, tasty restaurants, picturesque views on prime hiking trails and summer events happening each weekend make for a great place to visit, especially when your pup(s) can join!
We are also still offering our fan-favorite packages, for a limited time – Dog Days of Spring and the FreeportUSA Girlfriends’ Getaway weekend package. All the details are below and your furry family members will certainly be happy to join you on vacation!
Warmest wishes,
Connie Lay, Innkeeper |
